Dear Reader,
It is a humbling experience to pause and reflect on the success and scale of Auvik. Founding the company with Marc and Dave was a leap of faith, but we approached it with a bold vision and intentionality. It has taken a combination of the right people, strategy, timing, and dose of luck to achieve everything thus far!
As the pace of growth accelerates and new team members join us from all around the world, I have come to realize that a significant amount of my time is spent providing context and creating alignment on our long-term vision and strategy. Instead of simply creating a slide deck, which often glosses over important details, I have chosen to write this book to share our journey so far and provide insight into the trends that will shape our future.
Writing this book has certainly been a challenge for someone like me, who struggled to pass high school English. However, I have learned that challenges are what make life exciting. The process of writing has given me the opportunity to reflect on the obstacles we have overcome, the successes we have achieved, and the enjoyable moments we have experienced along the way.
Through this book, I have come to realize the profound opportunity to share our journey with you and to offer insights and lessons that we hope will be valuable to you as you embark on your journey with us.
I am proud to be a part of Auvik, and even more so, I am excited about the chapters that have yet to be written.
