Adam Kunder
Former Firefighter | CEO & Founder, Resilient Ones
Adam Kunder is the CEO and founder of Resilient Ones, which he created out of the struggles, losses, and hard hits he faced in his own life. In his 30s, after a decade as a full-time firefighter, he understood what community could do for a person, but he also learned how quickly it could fall apart under the weight of burnout, trauma, and support systems that were never built to hold all the weight we carry.
He went through battles that reshaped him. He lost close friends. He watched an engagement fall apart. He faced moral injuries, traumatic calls, and the slow unraveling that happens when you push through pain instead of facing it.
Adam burned out, stepped away from the career that once defined him, and was eventually diagnosed with PTSD.
What followed was the hardest work of his life. He had to rebuild himself from the inside out. Through therapy, research, coaching, and countless hours studying the nervous system, identity, and behaviour change, he learned something that shifted everything: true resilience is not built in reaction. It is built in preparation, in the daily habits, tools, and internal systems that support you long before life tests you.
Resilient Ones exists to teach that foundation: to help people reclaim their clarity, regulate their minds and bodies, rebuild their identity, and become someone who can meet life with strength instead of survival. Now, as a coach and entrepreneur, Adam dedicates his life to helping others do the same.
Through the Resilient Minds framework, science-backed practices, and a supportive community, he helps high performers build the tools and mindset they need to stay grounded when life becomes overwhelming. His mission is to help people strengthen their foundation long before they reach a breaking point, so they can face whatever comes with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of strength.
